Mini + start

First of all thank you for purchasing the Jeedom Mini +. Here you will find detailed documentation explaining how to put this box into service, and thus discover home automation with Jeedom.

The Jeedom Mini + box you received must contain :

• A Jeedom Mini + box (JeedomBoard Mono Card - ARM Cortex A9 1.2Ghz & 512MB RAM)
• A 5V 2A mains charger.
• A micro SD card with Jeedom software pre-installed. (This card is normally already inserted in the box)
• MicroSD / SD Card adapter.
• Jeedom sticker.
• An RFXcom 433E module with its USB cable. (Only if you have purchased the starter pack with RFXcom interface).
• RaZberry Z-Wave + card. (Only if you bought the Z-Wave + compatible starter pack) (This card is normally already installed in the box)

Before you can use it, you must connect your Jeedom Mini + box to your local network (on router, switch or internet box…), and to the mains.

Before you start, please note that Jeedom works with plugins. Several plugins are pre-installed on your Jeedom Mini + :

The Z-Wave plugin which is used to configure its Z-Wave network and to add new Z-Wave modules.

The Mail plugin.

Widget and Script plugins.

The weather plugin.

You will still find many other plugins directly via the Jeedom interface on the Jeedom Market.

Also, don’t forget that you have 2 coupons (sent by email), allowing you to install 2 paid plugins for free (RFXCOM and Alarm). To use it you must create an account on the Jeedom Market, see the documentation : Doc market.

The email you received also includes the service pack number associated with the Jeedom Mini +. You can enter it on your Market profile, this will allow you, among other things, to access the various services corresponding to your Service Pack.

You can now follow the documentation : Getting started with Jeedom Which will allow you to find the IP address of your Jeedom Mini + and connect to it in order to start to configure and use it.
